How to set up Google analytics

You can easily add Google Analytics or other third-party tools to your Framer site by pasting the tracking code into your settings.

To add Google Analytics to your website, follow these steps:

  1. If you don't have a Google Analytics account, visit the Google Analytics website to create one.

  2. After creating your account, follow the steps provided by Google to create a property.

  3. Once your property is created, you'll be provided with a Measurement ID. Copy it and go to 'Site Settings' in your Framer project.

  4. Paste the ID into the input field labeled "Google Analytics Measurement ID".

  5. Save your changes and publish your site.

Note: In Google Analytics 4, IP anonymization isn't needed as it doesn't log or store IP addresses. Remember, you must ensure GDPR compliance when using integrations.
